Authors's Label
Inequality Adjusted Development Index (I-HDI)
Our Classification
Remarks
The I-HDI is based on Human Development Index and also produced by the United Nations Developmen Program (UNDP). The I-HDI scores are lower than the HDI-scores in proportion to inequality in the distributions. The I-HDI tells us how much the human development in a country falls short of the potential human development under the condition of complete equality. .
Operationalization
Index of
a. life-expectancy at birth (health)
b. school enrollment (education in years)
c. GNI per capita (purchasing parity).

Scores for each dimension are adapted for inequality in the distribution. Scores get equal weights.
