OLRC controlled for:
-age
-health
-gender
-number of children
-size of town
-education
-labor market status
-income.

OLRC (Ordered Logit Regression Coefficient) cannot be interpreted as an absolute effect-size. The coefficients only denote relative differences in correlation and whether the correlations are negative or positive. E.g.  correlations between being married and happiness are usually positive, but there are differences: the positive correlations are higher in Australia than in Finland or Chile.
