OLRC controlled for:
-age
-health
-gender
-number of children
-marital status
-size of town
-labour market status
-income.
OLRC (Ordered Logit Regression Coefficient) cannot be interpreted as an absolute effect-size. The coefficients only denote relative differences in correlation and whether the correlations are negative or positive. E.g. in most nations there are positive or negative correlations between eductation and happiness but in some nations the correlations are positive and negative simultaneously, dependent on the actual level of education.
