- Participants were randomly assigned to
1 GAP INTERVENTION Participants were sent the Goal Setting and Planning (GAP) manual to work through individually over 5 weeks. The focus is on developing positive goals to improve well-being. Part 1 of the manual introduces the concepts of well-being, goals and plans. Part 2 consists of identifying obstacles to achieving goals and solutions to overcoming them. Part 3 explains how to maintain progress by continuing to use the techniques in GAP.
0 WAITING LIST. Participants received the GAP manual 5 weeks later, when the intevention group had completed the manual.
