 1. Donors: non probability chunk sample of all kidney donors in the University of Minnesota Clinic between October 1970 and June 1973. 2. Non-donor control groups: a. National population of the USA in 1965: representative sample (reported in BRADB 1969). b. Relatives of kidney recipients: those eligible for donation who did not volunteer: non-probability chunk sample. c. Recipients: all adult renal patients who recieved renal transplantation at the University of Minnesota Clinic between October 1970 and June 1973.
