Self report on single question repeated several times a day (Day Reconstruction Method)

After having completed a time diary of the previous day, three 15 minute intervals were randomly selected from the non-sleeping portion of the day and the respondents were reminded of the activity they said they had participated in at those times. Respondents were then asked the extend to which they had experienced six different feelings during each interval, one of which was 'happy'
