Participants were asked about their last performance appraisal on 5 dimensions in their current job, and to specify where the score would place them relative to their colleagues on a 5-point scale:
a. overall performance;
b. ability to get along with others;
c. completing tasks on time;
d. quality (as opposed to quantity) of performance;
e. achievement of work goals
