- How good (smart) is the child at school in her or his own perception and how is her or his assessment of her or his achievements at school. Self-Perception profile for Children (SPPC). 36 items, scored on 4-pointsscale. Children can pick out of two statements to indicate whether the statement is 'really true' for them or only 'sort of true' . Examples:
1 Some children find they are good in doing their schoolwork, but other children sometimes worry about the way they do their homework.
2. Some children find themselves just as smart as other children of their own age, but other children are not so sure whether they are
just as smart.
