All expenditures on durable and non-durable goods. Food expenditure was comprised of the value of food that had been bought or consumed from own production or received from others. Non-food expenditure consisted of expenditure on education, household durables, utilities, furniture, health care, personal items, and transport and ceremonial expenses.
