- All respondents named someone in their social network, which could include: people in their household, parents, siblings, children, other relatives, friends, and neighbours. No one was totally isolated. Those involved in instrumental relations, such as health care worker or a shopkeeper are not included in these figures. Size of social network is not included as an indicator of social isolation.
