Unnamed test, first developed for US Army in 1944.
Operationalization
Trailmaking part B. Like test A comprises 25 circles but only 13 are numbered, the other 12 enclose letters A through L. A sample is given first. Instructions are: draw a line from 1 to A, 2 to B, etc until L to 13. Subject is requested to correct errors. The score is the time to complete the task. For the purpose of this study the reciprocal of the score multiplied by 1000 was taken.
