Questionnaire: Paper & Pencil Interview (PAPI)
Questionnaire mailed to parents. TNO-AZL Children's Quality of Life (TACQOL) questionnaire. Mailed questinnaires for both parents and children. The parental questionnaire included questions about the traffic crash and assessed whether the child had had 1 or more chronic illnesses before the traffic crash.

Traffic injury victims treated at the Traumatology Department of Groningen University Hospital in 1996-1997, aged 8-15 years at follow up in June 1999. Reference group: 2 random sample groups of children from the general Dutch population (n= 1131 children 8-11 y; n= 1252 children 12-15 y). Both sample groups were stratified by age and gender.
