Functional Independence Measure (FIM): 18 item self report measure of basic daily living skills in six domains:
- self-care
- sphincter control
- mobility
- locomotion

All 18 items are score into one of seven levels of function ranging from complete dependence(level 1) to complete independence(level 7)
