RemarksNote at M= 13,5: The blank-grid has been measured in eights of inches afterwards. Absolute high and low of grid are not reported. So maximum of scale is unknown. Described means of interval by age-cohort: highest mean: 20.26, lowest mean 7.48. Mean present interval by present age-cohort= 13.5. Each S was presented with a blank-grid and asked the following question: "Can you visualize how your life could be put in a graph? Thiat is, ups and downs, level periods, rises and declines etc. Assuming that you live up until at least 80 years of age, how do you thin that a graph of your life will look?" Described year indicated in 5 year intervals (15 steps). For our purpost only present happiness is used.
