 Smartphone application called Happiness App, whisch is an adapted version of the Happiness Analyzer, developed by Ludwigs and Erdtman (2017). The application consisted of the Experience Sampling Method (ESM), the Day Reconstruction Method (DRM) and a questionnaire.

 Participants were informed about the different tasks of an Experimental and Control group and randomly assigned to either one.Participants had to own either an Android Smartphone or an iPhone. Participants were compensated in 'participant hours'.

 First questionnaire was finished by 197 participants, the second one by 152, and 135 finished the whole study. Data of participants were left out if they did less than 50% of the Day-Reconstructions or Experience Samplings in the Experimental group, or if their changes in life satisfaction were more than 2 standard deviations.
