 200 institutions were selected 100 care homes and 100 nursing homes in each of these homes 5-7 resistents were at random selected.

 13% of carehome residents and 28% of the nursing home residents were not able to respond. In these cases family members were intervieuwd by telephone and staf answered a short questionair on that resident.
