After a career in IT, Henk DeHeer has made his expertise free available for projects of general interest, one of which was this World Database of Happiness. Henk has designed the database system and has made the collections available on the Web. He maintained and developed the system during 10 years. The research findings on happiness would not be so well accessible without his effort as they are now. We miss his professionality and his friendship.
