# First the scale was reversed and on that basis a mean score computed. This original mean (Mo) was then transformed to range 0-10 (Mt) using the formula Mt = Lt+ (Mo-Lo)/(Ho-Lo)*(Ht-Lt), where Lt is the lowest possible score on the transformed range (0) and Ht is the highest possible score on the transformed range (10) and Lo is the loest possible score on the original range and Ho the highest possible score on the original range
