"Can you visualize how your life can be put into a graph? That is: ups and downs, level periods, rises and declines, etc. Assuming that you live up until at least 80 years of age, how do you think that your life will look? Indicate this by making a graph on this card

Described means of interval by age-cohort: highest mean: 20.26, lowest mean 7.48.
Mean present interval by present age-cohort= 13.5.

Each S was presented with a blank-grid and asked the following question:
"Can you visualize how your life could be put in a graph? Thiat is, ups and downs, level periods, rises and declines etc. Assuming that you live up until at least 80 years of age, how do you thin that a graph of your life will look?" Described year indicated in 5 year intervals (15 steps). For our purpost only present happiness is used.
